Hi, I am a girl looking for someone to go fishing (day trips only) within Perth metro area. I live in North Perth. I have noone to go with and its not like I can go out to pubs and meet someone who will be willing to take me on occasional, friendly, plutonic fishing jaunts! And while I admit I didn't try very hard, I wasn't able to find a fishing-matchmaking site through google! That said, I am only asking on here because I feel as though I need to incorporate fishing in my lifestyle and I don't know how else to make it happen.

I am basically a beginner, can't kill fish, love night fishing/from rocks and jetties and would really like to fish with someone around my own age, I am 30. So just some company really with a like-minded person. I am a social science researcher and am very interested in psychology and philosophy.

I live in North Perth and I tend to fish at North Mole, Fremantle and (recently) tried Moore River. I really don't know many fishing spots in the Perth Metro area though...

The North Mole and surrounds are good but lately it hasn't been that great due to the dredging in the river. Stirred up and silted water flowing in and out all the time. The limestone section is under construction, so there isnt much option.

Try Woodman Point, near the cement factory. It good there for sheltered water fishing, fish the end and you'll get snook, skippy, odd bonito and salmon when they're in town.

How young of a fisher person are you looking for?? I hope legal age??? lol JK
